About Optoflux
Optoflux is the specialist for the development and production of optical devices and precision optics made of plastic and silicone. Our products are successfully used in numerous sectors such as automotive, medical technology, lighting, sensors and magnifying vision aids. For our customers, we are partners and problem solvers in all areas of optics, light guides and reflectors with the lowest tolerances.
Our offer
We satisfy customer requirements from conceptual design and prototyping to mass production from a single source. Planning and testing is carried out in our own development departments as well as in modern measurement technology laboratories.
In addition to state-of-the-art, largely automated injection moulding, the quality of production is ensured by our own toolmaking facilities, including ultra-precision processing machines, wet-chemical and PVD sputter coating systems, as well as universally usable assembly lines.
In our ultra-modern silicone injection moulding division, we produce silicone optics for automotive and medical applications on several lines on a large scale.

Our origins
The origins of Optoflux lie in the field of "Technical Optics" of the Eschenbach Optik GmbH. Since 1998, high-precision plastic optics and optical devices for own use and for external customers have been manufactured at the Nuremberg site. (Image 1: Location Nuremberg OX1)
In 2014,
Optoflux is established as an independent company by a spin-off of the Technical Optics division of the Eschenbach Optik GmbH.
Optoflux takes over all employees and the two production facilities in the north of Nuremberg.
In 2015,
Optoflux acquires a third production site in Nuremberg where optics for new automotive projects (LED headlamp lenses and HUD combiners) are produced.
In 2016,
the 3rd location was extended by a PVD sputtering system. (Image 2: Sputtering system)
In 2017,
Optoflux Mexico was founded in Queretaro, Mexico as an exclusive production site for high precision injection moulded optical devices made of amorphous thermoplastics, targeted to improve customer care for USMCA and Mercosur markets and to serve specialty customers of the Automotive and non-Automotive industrial field in the region. In June 2017 the 1st injection moulding machine is put into production.
In 2018,
Acquisition of the world market leader in high-precision pick-up lens manufacturing: HPOI in Cebu, Philippines. This strategic move will extend the customer base, adding known manufacturers of digital cameras, mobile devices and virtual reality Hardware. About 200 employees make Optoflux HPOI an efficient Partner for the entire value chain: from development to prototypes to large-scale production.
